oik version 1.5 fixes two problems in oik version 1.4, one of which affects oik-nivo-slider.
nivo slider not displaying on admin pages
A change introduced to oik to allow the [nivo] shortcode to work on basic sites using themes such as Twenty Eleven meant that the slider did not display on the oik options > Nivo settings admin page.
A quickfix has been delivered in oik version 1.15. oik-nivo-slider will be changed to indicate its dependency on oik version 1.15 some time in the future.
[bw_table] shortcode not working
A planned change for the future is to trim the oik base plugin down to the bare minimum needed to support the “optional” plugins such as oik-bbpress, oik-email-signature, etc.. Version 1.14 disabled the [bw_table] shortcode. This shortcode is needed on the cookie-cat website, so I have re-enabled it.
