The Dashicon block, from the oik-bob-bing-wide plugin, displays a Dashicon as an SVG. Choose the icon from a list of over 580 WordPress icons.

- The Dashicon block replaces Dashicon – oik-block/dashicon.
- The Dashicon – oik-block/dashicon block should transform to this block.
- The [bw_dash] shortcode should also transform to this block, when copy/pasted or during Convert to blocks of a Classic block.
- This block uses the logic of the [bw_dash] shortcode.
- Since the list of dashicons is not a select list you have to type the name of the dashicon.
- Dashicon is an abbreviation for Dashboard icon.
