Do I need to flush permalinks?

Q. Do I need to flush permalinks for CPTs and taxonomies defined using oik-types?
A. Yes. When you first create a new custom post type. To flush permalinks visit Settings > Permalinks. If you do not flush permalinks then you will most likely receive a 404 message when you attempt to view a post created for a newly defined CPT.
