Version 0.1 of the oik-dates plugin is now available. This extends the oik-fields plugin by providing the “time” field type in addition to the “date” field type. Support for UNIX timestamps is also planned.
oik-dates provides the [bw_otd] shortcode. By default it displays blog posts which are 1, 5, 10, 25 and 40 years old. If there isn’t an exact match for the day it displays posts for the month, if required.
This shortcode was developed for use on officialcaravan.co.uk where it is also used to list release dates for the band’s albums.
The oik-dates plugin also extends the [bw_related] shortcode. It provides a default date from which items will be listed. For RNGS, it will be used to show the upcoming tournament(s).
